Overall,  it’s mainly a performance boost from iPhone 4 to 4S, however, the Siri feature seems promising. I won’t be getting this on release day, but if Siri proves its self I might jump on board.

The new iPhone will be available in stores on Oct 14th. Preorder will start being accepted on Oct 7th and will be available on Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T.

One of my favorite applications for the PC, F.lux, has finally made it to the iPhone (jailbroken).  F.lux is an amazing application that tweaks your monitor’s screen-lighting/warmth to accommodate for different lighting conditions and changes in light throughout the day.

Described as “software to make your life better”, F.lux is a simple to setup but incredibly powerful application that eases the strain of bright and harsh monitor light.

With the addition of F.lux to the iPhone, I will no longer constantly be fiddling with my brightness levels trying to avoid the retina burning fire of my iPhone at night. Configuration is a breeze with three simple options.
